Our Mission Statement
Kids Helping Kids in the Community
PASTA is redefining community service. Members collaborate together in chapters to create and implement projects that will help kids in their community. It’s student-inspired and student-led. It’s about running a non-profit and becoming a leader. It’s about character and compassion, and learning how to help. And, it all started with 12 kids sitting in a basement wondering if they could make a difference. It’s about the future. It’s about Changing the Way the World Cares.

We believe the best volunteers are those that are most passionate about what they are doing. That’s why we encourage our members to develop projects that match their interests and passions.
Assisting Kids
We believe that kids get kids. You can understand and sympathize with their challenges. Kids see you as rock stars and you see the difference you can make. Our mission is simple, yet impactful: kids helping kids in our community.
Student-Led
PASTA is student-led, student-managed, and student inspired. We even have an all-student Board of Directors that operates our non-profit. It is a chance for teens to do what projects they want and how they want to do them without adults telling them what to do.
Teamwork Through Chapters
PASTA is structured by chapters of 4-8 middle school or high school students. Chapters work together to achieve their project goals. Every chapter has a student mentor assigned who provides guidance in project planning and how to successfully work as a team.
Taking Action
We take action. We don’t just talk about it. We actually do something. You don’t even need a lot of money to make a big impact. You would be amazed what you can do. Why not join us!
